As we were given the greatest gift of all this year, we wanted to share our joy with those who need it most.
We attach great importance to supporting various social and conservation projects in our home and neighbouring countries. By supporting Home from Home and Imizamo Yethu Educare Centre on the social responsibility front, as well as the Chipembere Rhino Foundation on the conservation side, we hope to give something back to our precious surroundings, not only at Christmas time, but on an ongoing basis.
Home from Home provides children who are orphaned, abandoned, neglected or abused with a new home. The girls and boys live in small families and are cared for by foster parents. We admire this commitment and support the organization wholeheartedly. For more info visit: www.homefromhome.org.za
Another project close to our heart, launched by Swiss friends, is the Imizamo Yethu Educare Centre, a play school and a place of learning, where children from the Philippi township are cared for while their parents are at work. For more info visit:www.givehope.ch
In addition, we support the Chipembere Rhino Foundation. This non-profit organization was founded to help protect the African Rhino and does a tremendous and tireless job. The Rhino belongs to the so-called “Big 5”, a highlight on any safari, just one of the many reasons why it is so important to us to preserve this majestic animal for future generations. We would like to thank you for your generous assistance, without which the support of these projects would not be possible! If you feel the need to get involved, simply contact us! There are so many ways to do good in Southern Africa!
